Tablet PCs have promised to take computing beyond the edge of where it’s been before by enabling workers to use a computer while standing up.

In the past though, Tablet PCs have been held back by five factors:

1. Usable outdoor displays
2. Battery life
3. Weight
4. Ruggedness
5. Processor power

On top of that, software solutions have not been easy to use and have not integrated well with council systems. The latest generation of Tablet PCs coupled with our experience in integrating with municipal IT systems bring an end these limitations.
